| 寄せ書きに素敵すぎる返事をもらったため、何とお礼を言ったらいいものか悩んだあげく、８月１３日にダン宛のお礼のカードと私個人からの手紙、ささやかなプレゼントなどを送りました。宛先はまたリーブスデンスタジオ。 カードは自作して、当サイトの掲示板・ゲストブック上にいただいた皆様の驚き・喜びのコメントを英訳して引用させていただきました。２日間ぐらいの通告で「送ります、送りました」みたいな適当なこといってご発言を流用してしまったのに、皆様あたたかい反応で、ご協力まことにありがとうございましたm(__)m 困るわーと思われた方は、これからでもこそっとメールでhirameまでお伝えください。（引用させていただいた方のお名前は下に） ほかにカードには、ヘドウィグやチラシの焼き鳥、寿司、雑誌のポケモン画像、折り紙など貼って、くだけた感じの日本をアピールしてみました。「みんな大興奮でした。ありがとう、あなたが元気と聞けて素晴らしいです」と書き添えました。また、手紙担当スタッフさんへのお礼に、舞妓さんの絵はがき集（８枚入り）を同封してみました。 I had been thinking how I could possibly express all of our gratitude for Dan and on Augst 13 at last I sent an envelope again which contained a thank you card to Dan, my personal letter and some gifts (which aren't very gorgeous) etc. to Leavesden Studios, UK. The card is a hand-made and I quoted comments of joy and excitement by 22 fans (including me) which were left on our messageboard and guestbook. Sorry I gave you all a very short notice of a few days! Thank you very much to the people who kindly said OK to quote their comments. If you didn't like this action of mine please don't hesitate to email me. (Names of the quoted people are listed below) The card was decorated with such picture clippings as Hedwig, Yakitori(a Japanese food), Pokemon movie and some simple Origami (paper folding) arts. I wrote 'The excitement spread in seconds. Thank you Dan, Nicest news we heard - you're fine'.Also enclosed was some postcards of Japan, for the staff people who helped deliver our b-day messages to Dan. (Aug 15 by hirame) |
