Dan's Reply to Our Thank you Card 2003 (E)

Here's the letter I received from Dan on 29 Sept. 2003. This is the second time I got a reply from, him, and I'm on cloud nine again!
It's so wonderful we can read his latest comments, how incredibly courteous that he changed the text for this time! I think this text may have been reused to many other fans of him, because the topic is not particularly personal... but he was so kind enough to mention the mini-scrapbook-thingy I sent him with some Japanese fans' comments. Moreover, to my shock, he handsigned it AGAIN!!! Last time when I wrote 'Thank you SO much for your letter!! I've framed it and treasure it forever!!!', I thought I couldn't ask for anything more! You're so amazing Dan... I don't know how I can ever thank him, his staff members and everybody who was involved!

A quick thank you for sending me the lovely birthday gifts - I really loved the booklet with everybody's comments in, too!

I am very excited about out new director, Mike Newell, who will direct GOBLET OF FIRE. I love his films particularly DONNIE BRASCO, FOUR WEDDINGS AND A FUNERAL, PUSHING TIN and DANCE WITH A STRANGER. I am looking forward to working with him on this very challenging film.

PRISONER OF AZKABAN continues to go well. I have been fighting off a lot of Dementors recently and the scene is VERY intense! Alfonso has an amazing vision of this scene and I can't wait for you to see it next year!

During my breaks on set I have been catching up on some older films like DOUBLE INDEMNITY, COOL HAND LUKE and THE DEER HUNTER. COOL HAND LUKE is definitely one of my all-time favourite films. Fantastic!

With my love of music ever increasing, I have now started having bass guitar lessons and my guitar goes everywhere with me. Recently when I was working with Gary Oldman (a fellow base guitarist) he taught me some new tunes which was great fun.

Summer is almost over here - I hope you had a good one.

　<About mailing>I sent our thank you card which quoted 22 Dan fans (including me) on this website, my personal birthday gifts and my letter etc. on 13 August. I chose Express Mail Service again. It took a month and 17 days till this reply from Dan came to me, which I think is considerably fast because I hear that it normally takes about 3 months. I'm so lucky...;-D
The date '29 August' on the top seems to be the day the letter is printed (probably by his staff). The date or place of mailing in England is unknown this time, because the postmark only says 'Royal Mail Postage Paid' and there was no date or town name.
The handwriting on the envelope was again by somebody (supposedly Dan's supporting staff) with round hand and it's the same hand to the letters sent to other Daniel fans.
